How to activate Alarm with windows open?

Hi,

Today i left my rear coupe windows open when I got to work.

Around 10 mins ago, I hear my alarm go off. The only thing it could have been was wind etc getting into the car and triggering it

I read sumplace once, that you can activate you alarm in a certain way if you wanted to keep your windows open

....is this possible?

Press the lock button twice. This deactivates the interior motion detectors but still supports the perimeter alarm. It's designed to allow you to lock the car and keep pets / children inside.

Lock the car, the red led should flash under the rear-view mirror. Press the lock button again, it will stop flashing
