Hi
I read a post a few months back which mentioned there is a guy who for a fee will teach you how to handle a rear wheel drive car in all sorts of situations. Also teach you some rear-end tricks and how to get the best pull away off the mark...
I've searched for that thread but couldn't find it.
Any one got details of the guy who I'm talking about......
Got to beat my mate and his damn 328i! Even with my SK+ it's neck and neck, but I've got 93bhp more

Yeah but you've got a Vert, dont they weigh something like 200kg more than a Coupe? That alone is a massive disadvantage. I suggest Carbon - doors, bootlid, bonnet, bumper and dump the interior. You should be quicker then.
I am surprised though, is his modded?

It's standard mate
I used to have one and they're well quick!
They're not that quick!
Pulled up on cromwell road last week and a guy in his 328 saloon started revving his engine at me...
Lights went green, and I let him take off then within a second or so I planted it and was way past him once I'd shifted into second!
Advanced driving sounds like fun... My Zed's really tail happy so I really wouldn't mind taking a course too!
yea id love to take it even though i dont have that much power :D Still be fun.

Thats not a bad price. After Bruntingthorpe i find myself drifting around every roundabout.lol
I'd certainly be for it if we could organise something. I thought about this after I saw the write up in PBMW (me thinks 2 issues ago, or was it 1 [hmm ).

That's the link I posted a few posts above :D
Yes you do use your own car, it's possible to rent one but it's quite expensive I think.
Don can show you how to slide but that will be quite difficult if your car doesn't come with an LSD. (and in the E46 range, only the M3 does  )
