ABS light?

I went through a large puddle on sunday and since then the ABS light has come on. The brakes seem to be working as normal but wonderd if its just a sensor that has got wet. will it dry out and go off or do i need to get it reset?
or should i take it to sytners for a check up?(I would rather not)
any help would be appreciated.
