Don't mean to be rude but I'm not feeling that! :D I'm sure it looks better in person
Looks good in the pics Fas, cant wait to see it in person.
That may be the only cf bonnet at the show. :D

Not feeling it either....those vents etc just look a bit of an overkill.
If it was more like the original design it would look much better IMO.
But hey-if you like it thats the main thing!

I can't imagine how good it must actually look then!!!!
[cool
holy cow that front pic is mental! Goes PERFECTLY with the rest of your front end :D. Personally i prefer body coloured over CF but on your black its not looking to shabby at all . Nice one guys [ok
ps what happened to unvailing it at HIN :p?
Hmmm luv the CF and the vents [cool but that power bulge is all wrong if you ask me :o
Still, great to see team Evotechnik doing the hard yards on their rides for HIN [cool
Fas how did you go with the 330 front disc upgrad??
LOL- Fas that is sick [cool
will be awesome for the show!
just not everyday methinks ;)
I like the vents and power bulge- gives it some intent :D
doubt any of the fiestas/corsas at HIN will be competing!

Lucky you covered the vents tonight ;) ...it's pouring outside. This is a pure show bonnet.

What a look... I'm trying to work out if a CF CSL bootlid would put the cream on it with the top down but tbh I still can't get over those vents and the whole effect that bonnet generates. [bow

As Tin said it's some nice piece of workmanship and is a copy of the original Hartge GTR bonnet for E46 M3:

Gotta see it in person to appreciate its beauty
Damn it's just poured, must polish my lips again

WOW.. well done guys, good Job.
Sorry could not make it down.
For the Show yes, otherwise no, I would like it for everday if it was the exact same design as the OEM one, maybe with just the vents.
To be honest the only thing I don't like is that huge "V" in the middle of it.
But as a wieght saving thing its got me thinking.

i like da front similar to da H50 Bonnet...but dont like da rear......
How much does the H50 bonnet cost if I can get it
Fas, that looks really spectacular for HIN, but for everyday I wouldn't be so inclined. Nice job though....

tbh not feeling the cuts in the bonnet at all they kind of shout out rice car and look out of place. i think the bonnet would have looked much better with just the raised center but carbon does rock

Dude forgot to ask.....how big of a job was it changing the bonnet?
I want the GTR style if it eventually comes out for the facelift.

Damn, another 3 pages of comments :) good thing I had an early night last night, else I would have been on here all night ;)
Agree with most of you, it's not an everyday bonnet, a little too agressive for my liking. This will only be on for HIN and then (hopefully) a magazine shoot. Then I'll be reverting to stock.
One thing about it though is that because it's so thin and because there's no soundproofing, the induction kit absolutely roars, so would love to hear it on a 330 or something. I'm looking into getting a CF bonnet made using the stock design, no vents, no bulges, so watch this space :)
As for fitting, it wasn't actually too bad, the only real pain in the arse is the catches and getting them lined up correctly. We managed to get them all lined up, but we then tweaked it and now the catches are all misaligned, but I've called my bodyshop and they're going to sort it out for me this week so not too fussed with that.

yeah if you get the stock one made in CF that would def suit the car better then it would looks proper hard core i.e. its subtle at first glance but take a second look and then you see the CF :-)

CF and black bodywork does look the business [cool
Agree will look excellent for the show but a bit too hardcore for Sainsburys car park :D

That's an amazing bonnet!
If Roy does that in the standard bonnet format, you might consider changing it.
Sure HIN winner for the show piece

Dod and I, were looking at this, and both agree'd that "V" needs to go.
Check it out... sooo much better.. only wish it was this easy in real life.

LOL, bodyshop has been pretty busy, going to get it sorted tomorrow or Friday. According to Dave, it's not a big deal, they've seen this a number of times, especially in frontal collisions where the bonnet has been nudged out of alignment, they have some tools, or methods where it'll take them no time to get it sorted, so I'm not fretting :)
Tell you what though, I'm gonna miss it. There's a load of chavvy kids who play in the park, they're my mates now and instead of kicking the ball against the cars, they just stare in awe! "Eh mister, is that an M3?" "why of course it is son" ;)
You managed to get it up?
You are still talking about the bonnet aren't you [crackmeup .
Seriously though, the re-done pic looks sweeeeet. Definately a whole lot better than with the V bulge in it. The vents actually look a lot better as well (look a little more subtle IMHO).

I prefer it with the bulge. :o .......looks more aggressive.

definately not v shape bulge, but if it was a M3 bulge then that would be much better.
