yup they are universal kits I can make them fit H1, H7, 9005, 9006 or anything. Fitting is a breeze took me about 45 minutes to wire them up (but 2 hours to taping up all the wires with black insulation tape for a more OEM look in the engine bay lol) [situp

basically the callipers are available in gold only (VTTR RAcing's trade mark colour) but I changed my mind in the last minute and made a special request asking for blue callipers as I thought gold callipers would not show up too well behind the gold wheels. I can't remember to whom the gold ones are going I'll let him tell you guys :D

With this price tag they are truly awsome! Kit includes new disks, pads, hoses, and a pair of callipers. I have also ordered the 6 pot for my rear they will be here in a month time or so.

6pots for the rear?? I think the brake bias on your car will be totally messed up mate! you'll end up locking the rears and getting into a spin very easily.. which size discs are you looking at?

Excellent article on brake bias here (http://www.stoptech.com/whitepapers/brakebiasandperformance.htm)..

ps:don't want to rain on ya parade, but also don't want u mess up ya lovely motor! safety rulez dude always over cosmetics ;) [hiya

damn didn't know about this before, so how come 4 pot front and 4 pot rear is ok though?

on balanced brake systems, the rear kits have smaller piston diameters and smaller rear discs (330mm x 28mm), thus resulting in smaller brake force. approx 80% of the braking force is done by the fronts, as the weight is shifted considerably forwards..

illustrated here :

blurb taken from stoptech's tech paper :

Evaluating this chart, we see that the vehicle will always be rear-biased. That is, the rear brakes will always be applying more force at the tire contact patch than the weight of the rear axle can sustain. This vehicle will always lock the rear brakes before the front. Not so good.

Most cars, however, have brakes at the rear that are smaller than the front. There are a lot of reasons for doing this, and one of them is to help provide the correct brake bias. Also, most cars have a proportioning valve which limits the amount of brake pressure seen at the rear calipers. If we look at the same chart with a more realistic braking system (one that takes into account these effects) it might look like the chart in Figure 5.

Yes dude, forgot to tell you about this. Brake bias is VERY important. My StopTechs have 4-pot calipers front and rear and the same size discs all round but the rear caliper pistons are much smaller 32mm and 28mm as opposed to 42mm and 38mm fronts. Need to get VTTR to look into this, or better still just take a Brembo/StopTech caliper and copy it........just make sure they don't do the 2% stint here...........LOL :D

dude I did say the rear 6 pot WILL be a lot smaller than my front callipers didn't I while we were at Speedway so I think VTTR know what they are doing. I have asked them to supply me 355mm cross drilled disks for my front and will use a smaller rear 6 pot and disks so that should be alright? :)

As long as bias has been looked into then it should be fine. Some say the reason for using smaller rear discs is because it allows both front and rear to heat up equally (larger discs dissipate heat quicker) since they have different load pressures.
