Hi everyone [hiya

My name is Nav and I have been reading this forum for a while now and think that all the members have done a great job with their cars!!!

I need some expert help from you guys... I'm about to put a set of 19" 8.5j Mutec alloys onto my 318ci but am not sure what width tryes to put on the rear of the car.
I have been advised to put 235/30/19's on the front and 255/30/19's on the rear. I was thinking about 265/30/19's on the rear, but was told to avoid them as they will be heavier than 255 - especially as my car is only a 318ci.

What are your thoughts, shall I go for 265 or 255 on the rear and what will look better?

Thanks in advanced for all your help :D

It is very rare to find 255/30 19 tyres, 265 will be fine theres hardly any any difference in weight/size. [ok

Hi Mundip [hiya

I see you have the full Autograph conversion, looks
I'm only going to get the wheels though.
What suspension mods have you done? Looks quite low.
I have just had Bilstein shocks and Eibach Sportline springs fitted to my car.

Will post pics as soon as the wheels are on :)

Thanks Lee for your advice

Sorry I made a typo with what i was advise to get:
235/35/19's on the fronts
255/30/19's on the backs

Yeah just swap the 255 for 265. Or get the 235 all round. Personally id gor for the 265.

Hi all

Thanks for your advice guys...

Looks like I won't be getting the Mutecs now  My mechanic was getting hold of some from Germany - but they have turned out to be for 5/7 series!

Back to square 1! Need to find a set of 19's soon!
