we have had so many enquiries for 318 4 cyl superchargers that we are now offering the Downing Atlanta kits , which a couple of customers have installed are report back that they are the nuts ! And good value too ..

Hmmm will be interested to read all about it, i was looking at this a while ago but there didnt seem to much info out there other than from Downing Atlanta themselves.

yes , that equates to aprox 200 bhp flywheel figure .

i too got the info off atlanta , but as I say , one of my fussier 318 owners just had it fitted and he is over the moon with it .

It's a step in the right direction. Us 4 pots often get left out when it comes to these type of mods.


I can say, that i have been in a 318is with a DA charger in it and it was kicking out 210bhp (It had a gutted and upgraded ECU). It was very very torquey. It was massively impressive, it would wheelspin changing from 4th to 5th.

If i was keeping my car for a bit longer i would seriously consider doing an engine swap with a iS or Z3 and sticking one of those babies on. Great fun!
