Seeing as my M3 is from the dark ages before MP3s were invented, I need a way of intergrating my iPod into the car. The Denison seems the best way forward.

However I've a few questions, I was reading about playlists 1-5 and corresponding buttons on the Nav Pro systems, ok not ideal as I don't do playlists. But button 6 will give me the full tracklisting of my iPod leaving me free to random flick through correct?

Next question. Installation. It sounds simple, but further reading tells me I need to run a 4 metre cable from my Nav system in the boot, to the front of the car and then the dock cable from stereo to glove box (I don't want the active cradle as it looks messy). I don't really want to pull my car apart as I've just had a annoying rattle fixed under warranty by BMW.

So how much can I expect to pay for professional fitting? IceCold how much to supply and fit this system and put the iPod in the glovebox?

firstly hello,

i supply and fit the dension icelink kit for £200. i usually use a docking cable over an active cradle as i find they look alot neater. you are right in that a cable will need to be run from the radio tuner box in the boot to the front of the car. i have done this manny times without any rattling issues. if you would like to discuss this further i can be reached on the numbers below.
