Hong Kong greetings

Well we arrived here safely today,what an amazing place.Traffic at midnight is still heavy.The view from 31st floor overlooking the harbour is breathtaking.Met up with Mits & Bav earlier on, planning to go to Kowloon tomorrow.Will take some pictures and post them up as we go along.Found the 24 hour McDonalds so we will be okay for food :D .The heat even now after midnight is mega,at least the hotel rooms are nice and cool.Teddy will be here tomorrow and then Nick so Evotechnik Hong Kong meeting will be in full swing.

U get food anytime u want in HK. Even 7eleven have mircowave where u can heat up n eat it there. Wish i can be there too now..:D

Mark, it's a great place, great food, great shopping, soooooooo much money & cool cars, also get to some of the street markets but watch out for the pick pockets ! - get plenty of pics to remember it by - enjoy

Body clock is shot to pieces,its 05.00 in the morning here and I haven't been to sleep yet.That now means 3 hours sleep in the last 48 hours :eek: bad news is I'm not tired,in fact I might go and have a McDs breakfast now just to top myself up before breakfast is served :D .Mike if you want I will check out the price of the camera for you when Nick gets here.

Greetings from Wanchai Hong Kong! :D It's 6.30am and on my way out to have breakfast with my uncle. Arrived safely yesterday but hadn't had a chance to meet up witH Mark/Tracey, Mits/Bav and Teddy/Trisha. But we'll have a good few days ahead to chill out.

Went to 1 Harbour Road at the Grand Hyatt for dinner yesterday and it was breathtaking! Superb food! ...... steamed scallops, braised shark fins soup ...... YUM! :D

Off to the Peninsula this afternoon for dim sum :cool:

Best thing is the currency conversion, 14.6 HK dollar to a pound! Things are 10 times cheaper! :D

We have decided to keep pictures and post them up when we get back.Body clock is now back to normal so we have been to Macau today,it is a beautiful place but very humid.The one thing that strikes me over here is how efficient the public transport is,I never use it at all at home,but here no longer than 3 minutes for an underground train.Even the ferry to Macau was quick and easy.The whole place seems to run at high speed 24 hours a day,and we absolutely love it here,and we will be coming back again next year.

great place Hk,i went back in 05 for the 1st time in 20years and absolutely loved it! it's so different now to what i vaguely remember as a kid.....the paddyfields, cows &chickens roaming freely lol.
