It is a diamond cut lip, so they spray the whole wheel, then put it on a lathe and grind off the lip. You have PM also. The lip will need to cleaned regularly with Autosol to keep it shiny:D

Looking very nice, hows the two tone going to work? lower white upper red? or diff parts diff colours? just keep it locked up in the rain or you'll be polishing ur brains out.

The car is always garaged. I don't want to say too much about the theme, but it should be ready for Bimmerflex all bar the engine, which needs to be rebuilt to extremely low compression:D



Once the tyres are put on, I'll get some pics, in the meantime this is the best I can do for now, maybe at the weekend, I'll put it on and take a pic

Are those the DWYB days at the Pod? Only thing that puts me off doing those days is the numbers of people attending - what sort of seat time would I get for my money?

TBH, those wheels look good from a distance, but there are problems with them, and I am speaking with Wheelbright to sort them out. Teddy had a good look at them on Saturday at the Middlesex meet.

yeah the DWYB days.....i wil be attending all as soon as my exams finish....you do get quite a lot of seat time believe it or not.
if u think about it, there will be lots of different cars there, some which smoke up their tyres in a couple of runs and some that dont, some cars have problems etc....
failing those convincing u into it, then the other thing is that if there is indeed a lot of ppl, the organiser, lex, mate of mine, will make it so that everyone gets like two laps then out again, this is a fool proof method as the strain on the engines and tyres in the two laps then time to cool down a bit.....
