Any meets?

I'm sure I may have asked this before, but are their any ET meets - be good to come see some of the cars on this forum. I know I don't post much, but I lurk here a lot, and probably would contribute a bit more if I knew some of you (or you owned Z4's.. :p )

There are a few Z owners - you just have to know where to look!! www.zed-cars.eu is a good start!!

Hehe... I know about zed-cars.....I went on there but found the 'M' section very slow, and ultimately preferred Z4um, before it died.. :( I was hoping to make the Cat & Fiddle run or the "Stig" challenge run, but I'm away for both :(

I was talking about Evotechnik meets and the cars on here more though. And prob evening meets, rather than whole weekends away....

Southsea sounds good... I'd forgotten about the community section of the forum (doh!) when I wrote this post, so will have a look in there and find the details..

It is very much a meeting place - aimed to meeting and driving - which is no bad thing.

Z4um got incredibly cliquey - so I dont mourn its demise.

Really? I didn't find that so much.. and I did enjoy the good mix of both European and American owners.

Also, call me selfish, but I liked the fact it was a very busy forum full of just Z4s, whereas Zed-cars and zroadster (which seems to have taken a lot of the Euro Z4um refugees) has a large Z3 base which dilutes the useful information.

Not that I don't go on these other forums however... :)

Southern meet is the next one and come to Gaydon, it's a major event and EvoTechnik will be out in force :)
