I’m still wavering if to fit Eibach Pro-Kit or Sportline springs, Giles at Branded Untouchable is recommending Sportline as he says I will hardly notice the difference with the Pro-Kit as I have the Mtech springs already.

I like the idea if the Eibach Sportline springs but how are they to live with:<O:p</O:p<O:p

such as how likely am I going to strap the front end of my sport bumper, when riding over speed bumps

what’s the ride like? is if very stiff like riding in a Mitsubishi Evo, or just slightly stiffer than my current springs.
The ideal would be something in between Pro-Kit (a further 15mm drop) and Sportline (25mm prop) but I can not justify the dosh for coilovers at £900.<O:p</O:p

I am planning to go on touring around north Wales in the summer and I am worried that with the Eibach Sportline springs I will inflict damage to the bumper.

So guys with Sportline springs tell me of your thoughts, what the ride like, and have you scraped your bumpers !

i have put on sportlines rather than pro kit and (not that i know alot about cars)
but can notice a diff in ride quality.i have no prob with speed bumps(quite a few in my area)mind you i only have 18s on.
also was told the sportlines lower slightly more on front giving a more aggresive stance.
only have mine on a while but am quite happy :) .

but then again have never driven with pro kit.

hope this helps

I have never scraped my front splitters when running on Sportline. So your sport bumper shpuld be fine. I'm not sure how bad the speed bumps are in your area but even the worst ones in London I have no problems as long as I slow right down.....and yes I don't care about who's behind me, they just need to be more patient ;)

Ride is only slightly stiffer than stock M-Tech but that doesn't bother me as long as the car handles better. It'll be a lot less harsh than an EVO though.

Mine was even lower than Nicks, and had Splitters

It was fine, like nick said came to right down in speed for the bumps looked great however. Mine however was a little too low as it was on a vert.

Had problems with ramps and things, however on coupe or 4 dr you will be fine. If you want to drive you car around and not think about these things.. then get the pro=kit. It is lower than the M-Tech.

With my vert I have really noticed that with the pro kit the car does not seem to drop enough at the front and slightly too much at the back, however I think vert rears are heavier so that would explain that.

I am 90% happy with my prokit drop, I just wish the front was down by another 15mm.

Give the sportline a go [banana

Coupe Sportline springs on a vert....THE BEST springs only drop IMO [bow [bow If I had a vert, I would most definitely do it ;)

if you don't add cs splitters or any lip at the front then the sportline will be fine with speed bumps.
i scrape my splitters but not at speed bumps, scrape it at retail park when i park with front in first and hit the kerb which is slightly higher then normal ones. :( splitter actually fell off )
but flying through speed bumps no problem even with splitter on.

i used the coupe springs for the drop on mine pro kit and it sits fine, are you just after a small drop if so get the pro kit if you want more of a drop then get the sportline.

here is my drop dropped on coupe pro eibach springs

i think the pro kit will be best by the sounds of it best of both worlds

You still not got those springs yet  ...lol

My clubsport splitters dont usually scrape with the sportlines on. Only very severe speed ramps and watch those damn kerbs when parking.

If you get the prokit you will still want the sportlines afterwards, so go for the sportlines. Ride is no more harsh than the standard m-tech.

sportlines and 19" do they go ok? or do you have to roll arches?

Depends on the offset. My offset could be brought out another 5mm without rubbing.
