Yup, straight into the dealer and get it done on warranty dude, they should sort that out no questions.

Looks bad bro, pop into the dealer should sort it out no probs, they can sometimes be funny if it has had a prang or some work in the past, but you should be fine :-)

cris, just make sure the 'paint assessor' bloke is there at the dealer when u visit or else they will just tell u to come back when he is there as he is the one who wil be authorising the repair. if he doesn't give u a good reason for not covering it (e.g. previous repair etc.) then just say you will take the case to Bracknell (BMW UK HQ) to resolve it, but be nice. just remember that the dealers are just franchises and all they will do is to charge it back to BMW so they're not losing out:) negotiate well:)
i heard that only happens in the first 3 years of warranty right. After that its outta the dealers own pocket [hmm.? I got small bubble like that near where u put the petrol in. You cant notice it unless your looking for it though. No warranty [bang.

I'm pretty sure its no quibble for the first 3years (if there is such a thing as no quibble at the stealers??) and there after its at their discretion.
Good Luck and keep us posted as to what they say?

depending on your car's age, it should come with 6 year or 10 year (newer cars) paint/corrosion warranty i think

if an authorised dealer repaired your car then u need to take this up with them - my local dealer said authorised spray repair has 12 mth warranty but not sure how accurate that is. i had a similar issue on my rear panel but it was 3 years since the repair so they wouldn't cover it.

Dealer will sort that out without much quibble.

yeah the work i had done on the car was no where near that wing.... i ripped my drivers door off in a mad rage 1 night... and my interior mirror and my drivers mirror and i smashed the back passenger window...
so mines a 2000 model... i can go get paint problem sorted out at dealer even though i dont have a normal warranty?

u should be ok, as long as it's been assessed as normal paint/corrosion claim (e.g. no sign of previous repair etc.)
ahh well ill give it a shot :). Cars be resprayed in certain places cos of accident but not where i got the lil bubble.

Hiyah,
If its never been repaired then no problem it should be covered, they may check it with the rest of the car for paint depth usually with a micron meter & magnet to see if its the same - if I remember correctly std is 1.7 microns ?
If its been repaired by an authorised $tealer then you get one year only, I found this out from my $tealer - Coopers when my lacquer lifted on the rear Qtr panel & front wing after a bodged authorised repair which had been subbed out by the previous $tealer 2 years before. Kicked up a fuss and got it all fixed up no charge !!! :D
