guys,

on tuesday midday, my S-class got car jacked whilst my dad was driving it.

it was the classic bump from behind trick, and what was your natural reaction, get out of the car and see damage. next thing you know, someones jumped in and driven off with your car!

luckily enough, dad was not hurt at all. all i can say guys is be wary.
i am absolutely f***ing fuming.

the car is pretty distinct, just incase anybody sees it parked up or being driven.
- private plate (S600 MR K)
- Silver in colour
- AMG bodykit
- AMG quad silencers
- 19in S65 AMG alloys (titanium finish) these wheels are literally brand new and cost around 4K, very rare.

it happend in leyton (not the best area in east london)

i just hope we find the car, so much money has gone into the car.

i have told this to a number of people,
if found, there is a small reward for whoever that finds it.
thanks for your time guys,
kass.

I have always take the key out when I exit the car, natural habbit. I even do it when I have people in the passenger seat.

Glad your dad is ok, I am sure insurance will cover it... I hope. :(

Most important is that your Dads ok
It will most likely be parked up somewhere, sidestreet or garage for a few days first to see if it has a tracker then move it on again, will be stripped or send abroad.

It happened to someone i know, the Police found their Passat 6 months later which stripped to the bare shell at a lock up in Liverpool.

Sad news about the car but great news that your Dad is O.K.

With respect to keys in or out of the ignition... i think we can rule out the opportunist here, these people had already gone to great lengths to get the car. You have to ask yourself how much further would they go to get the keys? Add a little pressure and adrenalin and thats when people start getting hurt.

I do hope your car is recovered.

sorry to hear that but it makes me wonder what would happen if you did get out with the keys ,
would they then bash you up and nick them

sorry to hear about this. Once the dust has settled, and insurance / new car has been arranged, I would wholeheartedly recommend "Black jax" by clifford.

it's an anti-hijack utility which can be installed as part of a clifford alarm or standalone.

Everytime a door is opened with the ignition on, once closed, a code has to be entered. If it's not entered within 30 seconds, power is killed to the engine and the alarm goes off.

it's awesome because if you do get jacked, you leave the car, with the ignition on, and let them drive away knowing they will only get a few hundred metres away. In that space you can run / call for help / gather your wits and give chase

thanks for all the support guys.
yeh i have a number
it is 07903 600 848.
i have a feeling it may get shipped or stripped.
fas - i have tried to get a clifford blackjax on the merc but somehow they cannot override it on the merc remotes/alarm.
i already have one installed in the 330ci. i need it especially how much money has been pumped into it.

v sorry to hear that...is the car equipped with a tracker?

Generally they will take the car to a reasonably busy street so that with comings and goings all day it doesn't arouse suspicion whilst parked to see if a tracker is fitted. If the car is still there in a couple of days they may come back and use it in crime then park it back up again or it will find its way to a "specialist".The most important thing is that your Dad is okay, you can always replace the car but not your Dad.

Really sorry to hear this. Glad your dad is ok though. Hope you get the car back. I personally wouldn't want to see it again as it wouldn't be the same after they have had it.

Sorry to hear this, pisses me off :(

The car can be replaced but your dad cant, just look at it that way and hope everything goes well.
This used to happen in Greenwich but only the Merc ML's and women drivers.

Check the local area for your car!!! It is more than likely parked up somewhere close to where it was jacked before it is moved on. I'm 99% sure you'll find it!
