Alreeeet guys and girls!!

About 10 years ago when i was the tender old age of 21 i brought my first BMW, a blue 318is!! My dream car back then was the e46 m3 so i brought the bodykit spoiler, door trims ect ect ect but it just wasn't fast enough for me and by the time i got round to saving up the cash to buy a real one the e46 coupe came out and i never looked back!! I brought myself a black 323ci and loved it!! 19" wheels and no drop meant she walked a little tall but i didn't care and couldn't afford to do anything about it!This was followed up with the 330 sport vert that i kept for a year and had a blast last summer driving it everywhere!! Last thursday though i fulfilled a 10 year ambition and brought myself my first M3!! So here she is in all her glory!! I'd like to say a massive thanks to my big brother Sargey for letting me kidnap him straight out of the gym at 7.30pm and persuided him to take me all the way (some 150 odd miles) to reading to see the car!! Brotherley love hey!!! BTW never ever ever buy a navman sat nav unit, they're good for the comedy value but thats about it!! I'd also like to thank everyone on the forum with all the help i've received in the last few years sorting stuff out( Mainly the subframe problem on the 323) without this forum and the great advice it offers i'd i've been stung with a repair bill of way over 2 grand!!! Great cars, Great members, Great forum!!!

Thanks again!!!

Only one little mod so far but plenty to follow!! I brought myself an Alpine IDA-X001 and its class! Amazed by how simple this unit works and i cant recommend it enough to anyone with an Ipod!!!

Many congratulations! Lovely car and colour combo! Enjoy M ownership  ......... I did every second on mine :D

From the engine bay, looks like it's one of the early and original models. They are still the fastest E46 M3s! ...... before all the little limitations were introduced through the years.

Thanks For the coments guys!! I've had a smile on my face from the first time i drove her!! The sport button is extremely addictive!!:D Its just got sooo much power, my 330 was no slouch but this baby really is in another league!!

Mud:- Stereo is simply awesome, i've only got the standard speaker set up in the car but its increased the sound quality and volume 10 fold!!! Menus work just like an ipod with the search wheel and back button!! Hoping to get the bluetooth adaptor to hook up the phone when they bring out the uk version!! I've got the 80Gb video ipod and it displays all the album artwork and looks really nice in the car!! Search for albums, artist and playlists is exactly the same as the ipod and you can switch the screen to 3 different views, the clock on the screen looks ace and the album artwork is crips and clear!! Its just a really well thought out unit and works a treat!! If you're coming to brunty on the 27th your more than welcome to have a play!!!

Nick:- Man you know your cars!! She's a 2001 with 46 K on the clock and its the fastest thing i've ever driven!! It just keeps on pulling and pulling!!My brothers just got hid 02 so i'm sure we'll have a little drag in the not to distant future!! What limitations did they put on the newer ones??

Cheers Fellas

Beautiful car mate. I believe the early E46 M3s had 343bhp, but limitations were introduced due to reliability problems and the BHP was scaled back to 333bhp. I could be wrong, though. Maybe someone here can confirm?

Hmmm, does that mean EvoTechnik has a bunch of bananas (or is that a comb of bananas)? :D :D

Shit colour :p . Seriously though Denz, that is an awesome example. Mine looked exactly like that (got a black interiror though) with the 18s and everything ;) . Enjoy every minute with it. I can't honestly think of any other car I would rather own at the minute.

Ben, I guess with four bananas on the forum we can now say that yes, there is a bunch of bananas on here :p .

One thing you will notice Denz is that a banana M3 gets a shed load of attention whether modded or standard.

The original S54 also run on a more aggressive engine map and yes, engine power was curbed slightly after the mid 2003 big end re-call to promote longevity. However, this is merely to increase the already huge safety margin BMW put on all their cars.

Check out the engine bay on my 2003 car. Strut brace like what Tariq said and also brake fluid reservoir and ABS module are different, so is the left xenon ballast :)

another yellow M3 they are becoming like black CSLs on the forum now :) congrats on the M ownership!

recall should be done to all pre june 2003 models and when doing so bmw wil automatically 'de-tune' the engine to around 320bhp so check ur serice history to make sure it's been done by a dealer

you've saved up for the car, now start saving for mods :)

Thanks again for all the coments guys!! I've been trying to find a nice one with the colour combo for a while!! She's had all recalls done and running in service was completed at 1200 miles!! Pretty much imaculate condition and the wheels were refurbed a month before i brought it!! I managed to buy the car outright so no loan or fianance means more custom for Teddy and Roy:D

Thanks Again !!!
