Excellent day out. Thanks to Paul (Mystic Sport) and BMWland for organising an excellent day out. If I knew the location beforehand, I would have brought along a BBQ set!

A very good mixture of cars and even better combination of unique and friendly characters. Some stunning motors old and new, German and Italian!

Ok, it all started at 10:30 when a few guys met up at thurrock services to start the journey to our next rendezvous at south mimms services to meet up with another bunch.

Had an interesting encounter with a ferrari testarossa and F355. Lets just say the 355 wanted to play as the owner told me his new capristo exhaust had only been fitted on the friday - so how did the M3 fare? Not too bad at all as Alex will probably confirm ;) .

Had a great day, enjoyed every mile of the convoy and had a great time at the MK meet. :)
On the way back i let my brother drive my car and i jumped in with Giv for a ride, all i can say is that thing is FU**IN mental :eek: :eek: i looked at the speedo after we teared past a 911 and we were doing 140mph, so much torque :D

I was so looking forward to this! Car was cleaned Saturday morning, SatNav was primed and ready to go, then Saturday afternoon whilst out Jetskiing I managed to twist my right knee, first time I've hurt myself in over 10yrs :(:(

So i spent all day Sunday with my right leg up on a pile of cushions wishing I was in M/K :rolleyes:

They are called Vortex R and out of the Wheelmania line. The centres are normally silver but I had them colour coded in carbon black.
8.5x20 ET20 fronts with 245/35/20 Toyo Proxes and rears are 10x20 ET20 with 275/30/20 Toyo Proxes
One piece in 3 piece look and excellent value for money.
They also have a second line called Vogue International, through which they do rather exclusive and expensive wheel ranges like Loewenheart, Trafficstar etc.
