Go to halfords...

get some engine degreaser, and some WD-40.

Cover any electric things like halo ballast's etc, in film/foil etc.

Empty the can of Engine Degreaser everywhere, leave it to settle, use a brush on any parts that look very dirty to losen the stuff up.

Then use a hose, not a jet wash, to wash everythingy down. Leave to dry,
once dry, spray WD-40 everywhere, and it will come out looking Bling...!

Hi Cris,
Use Gunk Ultra from Halfords etc & follow Durgesh's instructions for a great result

I haven't had the nerve to try this again as I went through the a real nightmare with my Corrado.

I did exactly as everyone has mentioned, but when it came to starting her, nothing :o .

It took a week to dry out completely before she sprung back in to life.

Yep, glass cleaner for me

Costsco sells them by the dozens for a dime, I stock up there. I even emptied a bottle into my screen washer....it's AWESOME!.....LOL :D :D

Most effective if you clean your engine bay regularly tp prevent gunk from building up. That way, a small dab will keep everything shiny each time you clean your engine bay.

NEVER use wd40! it just attracts more grime. CDT2 is brilliant would highly recommend it.

CDT2 is a detailing and cleaning kit made for engine bays, I'm sure it has other uses too. But thats the main one.

Its surprisingly easy to apply and a very rewarding finish depsnding on how dirty it is.
