Vortex exhausts

Anybody come across these before? Website is http://www.vortex-performance-exhausts.co.uk/ but it looks half-built or partly down atm. Reason I ask is that one of my mates just had a back box put on his Cherokee and he's been raving and going nuts about it ever since. Says it sounds fantastic and the difference in power is black and white. Supposedly it's meant to draw the exhaust gases out and increase the flow, thereby increasing performance, nothing extra special there yet they quote a 15% power gain..

They quoted him 500 notes for the range-topping stainless box for his, but said they can do them for any car. You guys are the experts - thoughts?

Well, he's had the pipe on a few days now and swears it's more responsive and 10% up on consumption. I'm gonna try and chat to them and see how/what they do.

Anyways.

Another one for you to ignore and/or laugh at. http://www.hiclone.co.uk/index.htm - Meant to boost turbo and SC engines especially for both torque and consumption. Given Digs' successful (finally!) install and Nick's date with the blowers next month, I thought I'd drop it in to the hat and see if it sounded plausible.
