About 4 weeks time i should be done moving to Cyprus etc, so it will be time to get back on track with modding, instead of paying for damn shipping fees:rolleyes:
Whats the best options at the minute.
Are the Brembo Racing the best to go for? ( the LW versions) or is the something better, Movit etc?
I belive the AP kit is the lightest on the market.

Or brembo GTR kit?..
apparently regular Brembo 8 piston calipers weigh about 5.6kg. So I guess these are ultra Light?
Some guy over USA had these. special order.

if you are looking for lw bbk you cant beat VTTR purely forged alu racing calipers and forged alu disk centre hubs. you get bbbk 6 pot for front and small 6 pot for rear. Brembo and AP I believe they have steel disk hubs
there are of course other good ones like Move It and FCarbon and StopTech but I personally have no experience with them

I'am a big fan of Tarox Lee I think the 6 pot kits start at £1400 with hoses and anodised claipers ive also known them to upgrade to 10 pots free of charge

A mate of mine owns Hi-Spec racing & he was doing twin caliper systems about 15 years ago for Rouse Motorsport.....awesome braking but beyond a nightmare to have fitted :)

It's very difficult to describe 'the best' Lee. They are all very good, some are a lot more expensive than others. Of all BBKs I've tried, the StopTech has the most aggressive pedal feel. Touch it and it bites. However, the caliper paint and disc hubs can be bettered IMO.
I'll be trying out a set of F-Carbon/TWR next for my 335D. Should be good. More 'affordable' too.

my HUGE brembos are super light and can drag the car to nothing in a heartbeat, though all bbks are good i would say, its just what you are happy with.

Shipping is the killer. The weight and dimension of those boxes, you'll be looking at at least $500. They weigh more than rims. Plus it's almost impossible to evade tax due to the size of the parcel and nature of the product.

They are the ones I can get hold of. Bit more expensive but the spec looks great. Think they are lighter than the AP's too.
I dont like Tarox, i had them on my Zafira and swapped them out for Brembo.
The best brakes ive had so far are the stoptechs. And i never seemed to have a problem with the paint etc. Dont know how Fas has gotten on with them.
Those Winner BBK look quite good, never head of them though, any more info?

Nope. The powdercoat is very robust. There is one small scratch on the surface which was totally my fault, putting on the wheel at an angle, one of the spokes caught and rubbed away at it. However, even though it's lifted a slight edge, the powdercoat has not peeled in any way whatsover, which is awesome.

Nick must of had a dodgy set or it could be the cheap red ones:p
Im still thinking the LW race Brembos, just a big step up in £££.

Brembo has stopped making the 8-pots now. Pedal feel is poor. They replaced it with the new 6-pot monoblock calipers.
