Many of you may have seen the announcement by ESS on E46 Fanatics for their new CFR M3 supercharger range.

This is the system to go for, bar none. We have been following the development programme over last 4 months with ESS and far as we see they have done everything right such as

- proper software, perfectly UK compatible
- well engineered and very strong mounting bracket, so compressor will not flap about under load
- well designed inlet plenum
- good blow off valve
- the best compressor on the market , ASA TM 120. This also has a nice fat puley so pleanty of grip on the belt, no need for expensive 8 rib pulley system.
- All components are under stressed, i.e. not running anywhere near their limit.

Will be available in 3 stages, all prices are approximate at this stage, but include VAT :

CFR-550 (stock engine internals) 470RWHP @ 7PSI £6800
CFR- 550 - 2 ( stock internals, ESS camshaft, higher boost and software to suit) approx 510 RWHP @8PSI £7500
CFR-700 (ESS FI cams, 9000RPM valve springs, lowered compression forged pistons -9.5:1 CR, engine bearing kit) 600RWHP @ 13 PSI £TBC

We have been authorised to take advance orders now for these kits, and offer a 5% discount to those who wish to lay down a deposit of £1500 or more.

CA has already placed it's order for a CFR 550 - 2 kit :)

By the way, the dyno graphs show European horsepower not usual US horsepower so they seem accurate, we just checked on this with ESS.

thanks

Andy ...the answer to your question is simple...DO IT !! You will not regret it . Install cost not seyt yet but expect around £950.

Nick ....same for you mate, DO IT ! :)))

Look around at all other kits on the market...they have been around for about 5 years or they are a close copy of ESS previous M3 kits. These new CFR kits are bang up to date in terms of desig, technology, components and software. Ess have learnt from all other kits and built the best one...simple as that.

ESS have done it again.......:D

This just proves that its not worth buying the new M3........just buy a cheap 2nd hand M3 and blitz the competition with the supercharger:cool:

BTW Roy , when are you taking orders for the ESS Twin screw?:D

true dat :)

regards twin screw systems, we are already installing two of these to E46 330 cars, they have been available for a few months now.

The TS systems are VERY good, loads of mid range torque, max boost is achieved by around 5500 rpm !
