all good model shops sell them either electic or nitro and a range of different bodies either prepainted or self painted, i used to race to quite a high standard so if any1 does want advice feel free to ask.

my old custom race beast from a few years back, electric are fast but nitro are awesome fun and the good think is if u wipe out big time your not sat in it lol.
lol serious model! Where about on rayners lane man? Thats local. Is it that one near the pub that also sells planes?
Could you buy all the bits to make in exact replica, wheels, body bits etc or would you have to custom make these....

Ah model racing cars, my domain ;) . Don't buy them here, very expensive. Get them from Hong Kong www.rc-mushroom.com
Top store for HPI models

Chassis is different but the bodyshell is a moulded piece of lexan and totally universal for a specific given scale.
I had this last year but slowed right down with my racing now I'm modding my beemer :D :D

i bought a 350 quid petrol car 2 years ago from hamleys and its never really worked right since i got it... infact now the bloody thing u pull 2 start it is jammed.. everytime i started it would die out or it would run for ages then then when i would try 2 move it would cut out lol ive tried sorting the mixture out a million times... its a pain >.< now it just sits all on its own in a garage. poor toy.
