Read about it , running a program on your computer while your not using might help solve cancer for example , people all over the world are joing , and if you own a PS3 you can dowload the program and let the PS3 run when your not using it too.

There is a team I set up (if the mods don't mind I've set up one in the Name of ET since to me its like charity and us contrbuting to helping mankind :) ) that has the name Evotechnik and the homepage to links to the main ET website .......



Any client program can contribute to the statistics for this team by putting the number 62249 in the team field
(right-click to configure a client program)

if one day some disease gets cured because of this , I would be proud to part of it. whats amazing is that people all over the world are running it .

As much as I love the sentiment behind this post Adood I simply won't allow any of my systems to interact with this. I spend a lot of time bolting my systems down tighter than a nuns undercrackers and then to simply open them up by running this kind of program is IMHO like giving them the key to my (virtual) front door ;) .

it actually downloads the workload , and stays on your computer when its done it uploads , its not a 24/7 communication type of thing which leave a door open , so its like you downloading a file exucting it then just uploading a file ......
