hi simon
have you seen the car in the flesh ( so to speak) recently ? Was that you at the small meet at Birmingham a few weeks ago ? :)
May i ask what it was about the fit that did not seem right ?
Please note my own bonnet was one of the very first ones off the production line by vorsteiner, and whilst an aftermarket bonnet will never be quite as well fitting as OEM, the fit on vorsteiner has improved some 20 % or so in recent months.
Hope this helps :D

Hey Simon :)
fair comment sir ....
as i say OEM parts will always be the best fit, I am not saying Vorsteiner is now 100% perfect but it is better now than on my car :D
Costs to you at discount would be as follows :
double sided carbon ( like mine ) £1290
single sided £1180
DVWP ( plastic) with carbon vents £1040
I also have a single sided CSL boot in stock, £ 950.
all prices inc vat but not delivery within UK .
thanks :)

No problem at all Simon :)
the carbon surfaced versions require a little more primer depth to achieve a completely smooth surface prior to painting (due to the "bumpy"nature of the carbon fibre surface). No such problems with the DVWP plastic version.
having said that some customers who opted for the carbon versions just painted then normally as they wanted the mottled surface shape of the weave to show through the paint, so that you can tell the part was carbon fibre even though it was painted.
Regards fitment, I actually dont find it bad at all, but if I had to be picky I'd say the side shut lines are marginally wider than OE, also if you have certain types of strut brace fitted the underside of the bonnet can slightly rub.
all the best
