Yeah I know the 335i isn't an 'M' car, but thats really impressive!
(There are more videos as well if you look at his other youtube vids)

That 335i has the Vishnu Procede re-map, which takes it up to E46 M3 bhp but more torque. Still for $750 and 5 mins work, mighty impressive ;)

If that's the petrol, think how a 335D would fare... :D

I kinda expected similar times....
The e46 is as we know N/A so its obvious the turbos gonna be much quicker off the mark and midrange pull is unbeatable. However, whats more remarkable that it keeps going and going...it never lags.
DMS offer a similar remapp..if not mistaken it breathed just over the 350bhp. Alternatively, the 335d had an earth shattering 340bhp and like gillion lbs of torque.
New M3 will def hit sales of these imo....worth just waiting for it to arrive to see prices of the coupe fall.

Yeah, but lets see it go hold its composure round some quick tight corners with no LSD.
M3 is still a better balanced car and all-round performance package.
I don't think the new M3 will be that much faster on paper than the 335i petrol but it will be a totally different, and better, package.
Gonna capable of holding a few more horses with a 4.0 block too!
335i is still a great car, don't get me wrong. Agree with Tiko though, sales will take a hit.

I thought these cars were pushing around 380bhp with the remaps. Ive seen standard 335 dynos with around 330hp. If thats the case then a remapped car is easily going to be capable of matching an M3 in a straight line.
I know a standard one cant for sure;) . Atleast not a CSL..
