While I was having my exhaust fitted on Saturday I picked up a set of Tein coilovers with the electronic damper control which now need to be fitted. Can anyone suggest somewhere that will fit them and set it up properly for me as I cant be bothered to get my hands dirty anymore :)

You could try contacting Wheelmania who use to use a fitter based in Brimingham, he used to do all the lowering for Wheelmania.

Raj (heathrow) had problems after having their Tein's fitted by idiots so id suggest protecting your investment and visiting Roy at CA.

Just to add that the mechanic at Kerbside Motors is an ex BMW mechanic and regularly has Lambos, Ferraris in his workshop.

Getting it right the first time is very crucial with the Teins, because the front top mounts are not symmetrical, you really need to make sure you get them right as per instructions. Also, all the pillow ball joints are merely 'put together' from the factory. You need to tighten them properly before actual installation on the car. A lot of garages without prior experience with Tein miss this step.

Also depending on what rim you use, the inner edge of the rim rubs on the Tein shock springs. So you may require spacers. Roy has CA approved installers dotted around the country, you may want to consult with him first before starting any work.

I picked them up cheap cos they are off a mates car that went round the ring last year, he came back sold the car and took them off so as much as they are second hand they dont actually have any instructions with them! The fronts are already put together so it shouldnt cause to much hassel (hopefully)

they wont be going on till ive got some new rims to put on with them anyway cos im currently running the standard 18's which look pants!!

Not a bad idea to put them on now, let the ride height settle and re-adjust your suspension geometry. At least you're wearing out your old tyres whilst awaiting for things to settle (normally a week or so). Then when you put on your new rims and tyres, all you have to do is just fine tune the drop.

good idea! got a fair bit of tread left on the current shoes as well so plenty of chance to settle it all in with a bit of sideways action!! :D
