[hiya
I work for a recovery firm under contract with the local
police,part of our work is recovering stolen vehicles used
in crime of some form or another.It is becoming very
common for the thieves to target houses looking only
for car keys.When recovery firms get to pick them up they
will have been parked up left in gear, with handbrake on and
the wheels on full lock.We are not allowed to break into the
cars to gain access to gears/ handbrakes etc so they are
winched on which can cause yet more damage to peoples
pride and joy.I myself always!!!!!!!! lock my keys in a safe
when I am at work or not using the car,I dont want to
sound like old mother hen but take good care of your keys
otherwise it could be your car I get to pick up and I dont
want to do it that way.Enough said
