didn't you just get new tyres with your rim purchase a couple of months ago?

Just ordered two of those from www.Tyretraders.com for £163 delivered.
May be worth looking at them when you need tyres next.

The inside of my rear tyres were shot, must be the alignment out of place
Ive done lots of miles since buying the new wheels too so yeah + that
The fronts are fine, but still bargain!!!

when you got the Eibach's installed, did you go for four wheel alignment? If not, do so, as you'll be gunning through tyres until you sell it :)

What are falken tyres like then quality wise? I thought they were a "cheap" low quality tyre? Correct me if i'm wrong. Dont really fancy taking any chances on my M3.

I have been told they are excellent. Check out www.tyretest.com, also, a fair few on bm3w have them and rate them highly. There are quite a few reports saying that they are better than gsd3s  .
They may have a budget price tag, but in my experience they offer far from budget levels of grip, well compared to the Contis (but to be fair a set of Hankook probably out perform them in the wet/damp/very slightly moist) as far as i know they are a Japanese subsidiary of one of the larger tyre manufacturers and benefit form their R&D work.
The only down side i have found with them is an increase of tyre noise, probably due to their V tread pattern.
Definitely worth a look IMHO.

Guys. I opted for a full set of these on my Z4 3.0 in December as I wanted to ditch the RFT's, the transformation of my car was monumentous, the feel, feedback through the steering, shapr turn in and I have absolutly no complaints about grip levels, for sure they are a hell of alot more confidence inspiring than the bridgestone REO50's that were on the car, they were numb by comparison, as Paul has said I fear the secret of these tyres is out and it may well have an effect on prices but Falken have been producing a good sports tyre for some years now, the one issue that may well come to the top is how long they last compared to major branded stuff but hey come on at less thah £100 a corner for 255/35/18's I can do two pairs a year at that price and have plenty of fun while I'm at it.
The ones on my car have done 4000 miles now and look untouched, now the weather is starting to fair up a bit I have noticed the limits of the car expanding, I'm sure there's more to come from them as they feel like a tyre that likes the dry warm weather conditions to perform the best but all in all I would say somewhat of a steel for what you get....

I'm hoping to get mine soon and then fitted asap before we have the lakes trip next week. May need a day or two of scrubbing the buggers in - don't fancy ripping it over the passes on totally fresh rubber :p .
