3 Series Rims on my 1er

Finally got round to doing it thanks to Ali's donation of his rim's for a bit...

Wasn't 100% sure if they would fit as moders on the 1er are quite slow!

They're are...

M68 - Double M Spoke -

225/45/17 (front)

245/40/17 (back)

I really thought the tires on the back would stick out because they're really wide but they look amazing and don't stick out at all...

I don't have the sports suspension but they haven't really lifted my car enough to lower it...

Tried ripping it around a few corners yesterday and the car just stuck, if anything i had a lot more body roll because i had more grip...

My next attempt is on Tuesday when i put the new (current) 18'' M Spokes on my car! (Thanks to harsha!)

The rims look really good I think, and they suit the shape of the car... But in the day it really does look like some springs are needed! And definately if you're gonna do the 18's... it's really gonna look like a 4x4 then!

I like the 1s and those rims look wicked. They really suit the lines and give it a great stance. I have to say though, a subtle drop (Eibach Prokit ;) ) would definately give it the stance it deserves.
