Ok so i get to my car this morning and noticed the front was sloped down towards the drivers side. i thought oh fking great. as i walked up for further inspection my headlight has been smashed, and there is a ruddy great foot print and a few dents on my bonnet.!!!! well. i thought Ok the lights are fine she still starts i`ll change the wheel drop her off at the mechanics office on base as i go and they`ll sort the dents out and i`ll pick up a new light cover from halfords or something on my lunch. OOOOOOOOOOOOOK
gets to my boot, the only jack in the boot is useless... GREAT and then when i actually managed to borrow one and get the car jacked up THE FRIKKEN WHEEL NUTS WONT COME OFF COS SOME TWAT WHO PUT THE NEW TYRES ON HAS AIR GUNED THE NUTS not happy!!! cant drive the car because flat tyre, cant take wheel off and replace cuz some twat is incapeable. NOT HAPPY ARRGH... Any suggestions on what i can do
Thanks
Martyn
Jeez, you are not having the best of luck with this car...
As for trying to undo the nuts. There are a couple of things you could try. You could try actually bouncing on the bar itself to see if that starts to turn the nuts. The other thing would be to try and extend the bar so that you have more leaverage. I have a torque wrench which has quite a long handle and this helps as the turning effect is increased.
Good luck with it.

lock the breaker bar in place and rest it to the ground. reverse the car slowly......or set the breaker bar, then use your jack to lift the breaker bar handle

I've never met a nut or bolt that hasn't succumbed to Fas Power (well, maybe one). If you're still stuck, lemme know, I can try to pop over tonight and help out.

Well, I can be over anytime after 8pm tonight. Don't kick shit out of your car. That's my job ;)
Seriously. Offer is on the table. If you need a hand, you're not more than 20/25 mins drive away so not an issue

Hello mate. before Fas get there also its a good idea the spray some WD40 on the nuts and let it soak in for a bit. It should make the job a bit easier.
Ps afta that dont forget how long its gonna take you to get the rim of the hub...
Good luck mate

jumping or bouncing on a bar to loosen nuts is a sure way to snap bolts, NEVER do this!!!!
get a can of duck oil or the likes, soak it for a while and try again. air gun's don't over tighten the studs too much, people do. I just put new wheels on my golf and tightened them with the gun, the used the torgue wrench!

If I remember I will try and pack some when I am in Switzerland this weekend - far better than the German stuff.
