HI ALL

after overboosting and damaging the bottom end on our infamous E36 M3 evo Turbo car ( you know , the one that won tyhe 0 - 100 and top speed event at last years Brunty bash ...in the wet ...and running like a bit of a pig :D ) , after much waiting we finally have received our new internals as follows

- one - off billet crank
- one off lower comp pocketed JE pistons
- Pauter chrome molly rods
-Total seal rings
- ARP bolts

SO ... as soon as we actualy get time away from customers cars we are going to commence the re bulid and add external wastegate and aim for 18 - 20 psi boost . Last yer at Brunty we were only running 8 - 10 psi as a comparison ....

What a lovely box of bits. Have you gone for a longer stroke or bigger bore?

just noticed the 20psi  , that should equate to around 700bhp out of the Evo engine

hi all

i am not actually increasing the stroke or bore as I dont want to over stress the engine ; water jacket too this and stroking these motors eventually ovals the bores .

I was going to go completely titanium but.....the f ..ing cost !! just could not justify it , so went chrome moly instead which will be good for up to say 700 - 800 bhp , not that the engine will achieve that . If we get a genuine and reliable 550 bhp i will be happy .

this is along time coming , but keeping you lot served takes up all my time !!

Also we had to wait nearly 4 MONTHS for the bloody pistons .....

all the best
