View Full Version : BBS Group Buy!?!?

churchwa

Guys, it seems a lot of us are looking at buying BBS rims of some sort.

Might i suggest that we club together and do a group buy.

There are very big margins in alloys, so thus lots of money to get off.

What do you guys think?

If you are interested Copy/Paste the list, add your name and Post !

Nice one Churchwa [cool

A5GUR mentioned that he'd got the BBS CHs for his Golf from Rochford Tyres, even though they don't list them on their website - have you got them on your list of folks to call?

www.uk-mkivs.net are doing a BBS group buy with Motorsport Wheel UK. Im sure they've done their research and found the cheapest place. Might be worth giving them a shout.

I'm interested in purchasing a set of BBS RS-GT rims, 2 x 8.5x19 front and 2x10x19 rear. Count me in on the enquiry if we can get a decent discount.

thanks

Hi guys

if you would like we can organise the group buy for you as we have an account with BBS so me may be able to reduce the margins for you.

If you can let me know what exactly that you are after than I can make the calls for you...

The idea would be that if you can get 5 or more people then we could do them at 8% over our buy in cost....

Let me know what you think

Hi Alex

These are the ones I'm after...

BBS CH For Golf R32 (http://www.bbs.com/cgi-bin/a2v_data/nach_pkw_04_e.cgi)

But despite BBS themselves recommending they'll fit my R32, there have been some mentions of them rubbing - could you confirm if that's the case? And if so, would it be solved by having the arches rolled?

And can you supply (and fit) tyres at a good rate too?

CA Automotive UK
03-04-2005, 01:02 PM
hi

we can only go by the information given out by BBS , so will be unable to confirm anything else I am afraid , as there are just so many variables when acounting for wheel fitment .

If they do rub a bit tho , ach rolling will almost always sort it .

Right , we will keep a note of all the buy in requests , if and when we get the five orders we will post up the price everyone pays ....sound like a plan ?

Myself (Z3M Coupe)

BBS RC's. 18". The are 10" wide at the back and are dished and the fronts are not dished. I have heard there is a set specifically for the ZM3 as they use them for the GT series. Any ideas on pricing on these would be appreciated.

You need 4 M3 front LMs to fit standard E46. They are 8.5" wide and you can stagger the tyres.

EVENIN ALL !

RIGHT , BBS are a little difficult to deal with to say the least , but at last we have now prices for teh 18" wheels , 10" prices will be posted on monday / tuesday ; all prices are PER EACH WHEEL , INC VAT , but plus uk delivery :

- CH £265
- RX £265
-RX2 £446.50
-RSGT £464.13
-LM £464.13

If we get at least 10 orders then we will apply 13 % discount at least . this means we are discounting even more than the 8% over invoice we initially suggested .

How does this seem to you guys ?

CA Automotive UK
08-04-2005, 05:07 PM
HI AGAIN

just to be clear , those prices I have posted above are NORMAL FULL RETAIL INC VAT prices , and NOT the discounted prices you as forum members will pay .

So for example if you wanted a set of 4 x Ch in 18" , we are offering them at 4x £264 = £1056 less 13% = £918 72 , plus uk delivery

thnx

Scorcher,

I am on the case, I spoke to Roy yesterday and unfortunatly we will not be able to do this group buy through CA as the numbers of BBS they order is relitivly small and thus they cant get the best cost price.

I have since got a price of £820, form BBS Direct, for 8.5x18 all around for ch's which is £100 less than we could get them before.

I have asked for prices on 19's as well so it looks like we are going to get a really good deal.

Don't spend that money scorcher as i know the deal is going to be great.
