The Plate is unfortunately coming off as the owner would not part with it :( , however I've just purchased C1 UPP today as i liked this one so much. :D

As for mods, thinking about another set of wheels for summer cruisin... she's already running a DMS Map and Sports Exhaust so i think i'll leave her for a few months until I get the itch. :D These cars are nearly perfect outta the tin, so really not much to do IMO.

Techart's are a great looking rim no doubt, only too heavy and too big in 20" IMO. Probably going to look for some nice forged 19's which are light enough not to upset the handling too much, as these cars are all about go rather than show... :D

That is a proper weapon!!!! No other 996 comes close (imho) and you got it in one of the two best colours and do I detect a touch of carbon steel stoppers aswell.

The car is totally standard bodywork wise, the GT2 came with a much more aggressive bodykit compared to the TT. ;)

A few little facts about the car:

Production No's were very small due to the much higher price over the Twin Turbo, with most people opting out due to no PSM or any other driver aids, RWD only and Carbon Ceramic Brakes were standard on this car from new.

16 RHD UK Cars (2001)
66 RHD UK Cars (2002)
31 RHD UK Cars (2003)
16 RHD UK Cars (2004) Total 129

Standard performance figures are:

Top Speed - 196mph
0-62mph - 4.1 secs
0-100mph - 8.5 secs
BHP - 462 at 5700 rpm
Max Torque - 640 Nm at 3500/4500 rpm

Wheels & Tyres:

Front - 8.5j x 18 (235/40 ZR 18)
Rear - 12j x 18 (315/30 ZR 18)

Pretty impressive figures, but this was Porsche's Supercar until the Carrera GT came along. ;)

Good luck with the Strasse car, its obviously been a bit of a garage queen with such low mileage so should hopefully be a minter. ;)

Can't wait for the weather to pick up to do some quality miles over the moors, Castleton, Ruswarp, Rosedale etc... these roads were made for Porsche's. :D

Will do mate , ill try to get the old man out in his but its a tip so i dont want him to feel unwelcome as its a lot slower than a man. his is tuned to circa 480 so i think the GT2 would eat it , ill be lagging behind too then!

Whats it like with no driver aids and just rwd, we've got a 997 Turbo on the drive and once that spools up it's mental and scares the life out of me, yours really must be mad! Love it!
