lol got to give it to you guys. Takes some serious balls to go at an M3 boot lid with a drill :p. Need better pics though .

also let me show you guys my secret mod - custom carbon fibre intake tube that feeds cold air direct from the brake duct into the heat shield (thanks Roy for this too, we did this when he was fitting pulleys to my car)
Without tube:

just a thought teddy. Looking at the position of where the front of the CAI is doesnt that tube make it harder for air to reach the opening of the CAI? or does that tube go into the CAI?

A big, big thank you to Teddy for helping me, excellent service and quality as always! :)
This is the second time we've both been modding into the night :D

The wing looks amazing and gives the car a much more aggresive profile.
A little daunting going at the bootlid with a drill, but if it had gone wrong, it would have been an excuse for a csl bootlid.

As Nick say, you need to be modding mad to be part of Evotechnik [jam

the tube is positioned directly inside the heat shield creating a better 'ram air' effect. ;)

Mits, Teddy well done guys!

Yup Drilling into an M3 boot, not something I would like to do.

I would have just passed the drill to Dr. Nick, and made sure light was provided.

Anyway Mit's... spoiler will look good, and just in time HIN.

Next stop a drop right?

Just make sure the drill is not from ASDA ;)

Yep have to see about the drop...got my warranty renewal this month so may have to wait a bit. Changing the boot lights to the facelifted version and fitting spacers too over the weekend.

The drills got a Nickmeister Guarentee...even the great toolmaster Dr.Nick would be proud :D

Can't wait to see that on Sunday, it'll look amazing on your car!! :D

Can't believe you took a drill to an M3  It was for the greater good I suppose lol.

make sure you keep on top of the brackets which holds the spoiler on to the boot (i think there plated) as if you don't there soon look dirty and crap which will spoil the overall effect of the spoiler dude

Kav the earlier brackets Teddy had got dirty and rusted, but he had some new ones made before HIN last year and their still fine....so should be ok.

Even so I will apply some wheel wax or something, just to protect the coating a bit more.
