Gona take the plunge and get a E46 M3, theres one for sale at the place we bought our RX8, the garge is really helpful unlike the local stealers so dont mind dealing with them.
Its a 2001 M3 in that really nice dark metallic blue, the 19" wheels and 23000 miles for £24000 black leather as well  taking it for a test drive when I get back from Bruntinghtorpe this weekend
Cant wait quite excited its sad, hope it all checks out
 You know once you take it for a drive theres no turning back.... ;)

one of the great advantages of living in jersey mate, not only is there no VAT :D but the island is 9x5 miles with an Island max speed of 40 mph, means when it comes to second hand cars there normally all low milage and havnt been hammered

That's very good price!
Make sure the car has had the big end re-call done as you're not buying from a dealer.
At that kinda price, its a great buy... Makes me wonder about my new Z4 I just bought!
Good luck with it, I'm sure you'll love it.

LOL That was the first question I asked about the car and the answer was yes, thats alll checked out with the dealer..
Like someone said I know once I drive it thats it, Ill come over all childish and convince myself that it is a good invesment and i really should go back to the dealer and give him all my hard earn'd cash, lol

Yep - one drive of an M3 was enough to make me sell the 528 a couple of weeks later :D
Would have bought the M3 if it had had two extra doors....

Most important question.
Has it still got any warranty left?
I guess you got a new car then, once driven you won't want to give it back.
Check the car has had the warranty renewed, as the manufacturers warranty will have lapsed. If you can get an aftermarket warranty just check that it covers all the main bits.
Told by my dealer that if I had an aftermarket warranty they would'nt be too helpful, so renewing mine next month
Top stuff bro, best of luck with the test drive.... and lets face it new member to the family [cool

Not to worried about the warranty to be honest, that might sound a silly thing too say but bearing in mind im the manager of CA and I dont plan for this car to stay standard for very long (already writing and pricing my wish list) ;)
The other half is already moaning at me "whats the point of getting another car, whats wrong with the Alpina"
To which I replyed "you bought the RX8 so im having a new car, and the Alpina isnt quick enough :p "
now were did I put that ASA catolouge
lol :D
look forward to see the engine mods then ;)
