Yes please, I was looking at that today, puts me off wanting to get the S4, apparently the S5 will be there from the off. There will also be no more A4 cabs, only A5.
Bring on the RS5.

 In what respect?! VAG tuning is awesome, there's loads about and the costs are significantly lower than BMW and Merc tuning. With the VW, Audi, Seat and Skoda cars all sharing components many are interchangeable which means tuning parts are produced in larger numbers resulting in cheaper costs. Personally I love the options and in my opinion they're pretty much endless :)

What tilly said, I used to have 2 audi's and the options are endless, just the same as with BMWs, now Mercs is another thing.

BMW should be very worried. If this came in RWD I would have one, makes the E92 look pretty poor in comparison. Loving the side profile.

Have to agree with Mark, i used to be against VAG products due to the lack of steering feel and communication .
Now i have 2 and i'm loving it. The reliability, build qaulity and tuneabilty for peanuts (compared to M cars).
The new S8 after depreciation is a monster buy.

It is not a replacement for the A4, it is the coupe version. The only prblem with Audi's are their residual values, but their build quality makes them great second hand buys.
Audi outsold both BMW and Merc in the last year, which says alot in my eyes.

RS5 O My God - Please Audi if there is a god make the RS5 rear wheel drive - I would sell both my bo!!ocks to have a RWD RS5.
Please built it, build it with traction control, ESP, EBD and EMS but please leave me a button to turn it all off . . . COMPLETLY.
Mmmmmmmmmmmm

It will be 4WD because thats what their customers want. Audi will do what they do best, not try and do what others do best.
I would rather 4WD than rear, but thats just me.

saying that, aren't all their cars running the Haldex system? I don't know much on it, can't say I've looked into it but I remember talking to a few of the TT lads and they all said the cars were primarily FWD and then the Haldex system brought the RWD in when the car had started to understeer, if this is electrically controlled which I believe it may be as they all seem to have some kind of mod to the Haldex to make it oversteer slightly more, maybe it's possibly to throw it completely to the other side of the scale with a full on rear wheel bias? could be interesting... then again what I'm saying may be completely and utterly useless but still, its a thought!

By this i meant available mods such as bodykits, skirts, spoilers & bits like that rather than the collossal & very well known options list :)

Lovely car :) The interior is much better place to be in compared to the E92, even the upcoming M3. It's a sensible people's choice :)
dam i wanted to hate it but i don't it has the front of a tt and the rear of a bm when they make the s5 it will be hard for BMW to shift the m3 witch reminds me i must rush out and by all the number plates that start with S5/A5

Yeah the Haldex system is pretty awful, my 4motion had to be one of the worst cars ive owned.

Here we go:
Haldex ECU TT/R32/S3
The Haldex Performance Part will greatly improve the performance and handling of the Audi TT Quattro, Audi S3 or Volkswagen R32. The kit consists of a new electronically controlled valve body, gaskets, necessary hardware and installation instructions.
By re-tuning the vehicle's AWD system, power is more aggressively directed to the rear wheels under a wide variety of driving conditions. The Haldex ECU continuously monitors throttle input and other vehicle sensors and transfers torque more quickly to the rear wheels when driving aggressively. In fact, how quickly the torque is transferred is a direct function of how fast the driver pushes the throttle pedal – The Haldex unit will actually anticipate and prepare for torque transfer before actual torque is delivered from the engine to the driveline. The result is more neutral handling characteristics and better off the line acceleration. This system does not interfere with ABS or Traction Control Systems.
This is a simple plug-n-play application, no modifications necessary!

I dont think the new RS4 has this system though. I think it is much better and more advanced Quattro system. I would assume that all the new platforms from Audi would use the same one as the RS4, not the Haldex.
Sye, is see you thought there would be an M4 and no new M3 (as was suggested a while back) ;)
