Shame these didn't arrive before Easter...I don't think I can fit them before S Mimms as I am waiting for my pads to arrive too but hopefully fit them before HIN. Obviously not going to make a huge diffenence but with these, new pads, 5.1 fluid and Goodridges, my brakes should improve. Def need to change my username now :D

Man, I love your threads. :)
Hobbyist mods are sometimes the best, as it's the finer details which are subtle that many people don't notice but gives you pleasure every time you see them. Rock on :)

Let us know how they go with the new pad's on mate.
I put zimmerman cross drilled on mine with the standard pad's and to be honest they don't make any difference in stopping, look good tho ;)
Was racing my mate the other day for about 4 miles and mine failed. is there anything else I can do without laying out for bigbrake kit?
Had to pull the handbrake up and everything! Disks were glowing!
Fas, looks like you've removed your rear spoiler?????
Kris

Kris, have u got upgraded brake pipes/fluid? I heard that they make a noticeable difference so this may be the next mod u take on. I had Zimmerman/EBC/Goodridge on my old E30 325i and I honestly thought I had F1 brakes for about a week before I got used to it  I can't afford BBKs so I'll have to make do with what I can get (Goodridge, Brembo Max, ATE oem pads). Also, I heard that rear brakes only contribute to about 30% of braking so am only doing fronts for now. Nick can probably go into more details about the braking system and how to improve stopping power without going for BBKs. got to study Hayes manual to understand how to change these...
Yah from stock to shock Mitsu, very cool mate [ok
