JESUS F. CHRIST I was almost sick what I saw that! Is that from another website or your photos? Anybody want to guess the particular movements of the incident? I hope the driver/passengers were OK.

HARSHHHHH:eek:
dam    if he was trying to right it off i give him 10 out of 10
as m3cslboy said the csl will soon be a rear car R.I.P
Can anyone figure out what part of the circuit that is?
Wounder how fast he hit the armco for the front wheel to disintegrate like that, looking at the rest of the car it doesn't look like a really fast impact.
Poor guy must be gutted:(:(

Definately mate, I never drive at 10/10s round the ring, particularly in the wet. I know that I don't have as much ability as the car so always leave a bit in reserve just in case :p. I never get hung up about B-G times as I consider the best lap is the one where your car gets safely back into the car park ;) .

Looks to me that he understeered off the circuit before hitting the grass and arse overtook the front :( . Good knows what that Porsche driver thought  .
Incredible amount of damage :( .

Poor car.
I heard that the car is selling it for 30,000 euros on Germany ebay.

looking at it it seems the porsche is braking hard / even a bit sideways as he sees what is happening ahead of him!

I'm pretty sure it's the last right hander coming upto Eschbach and Brunchen; Wippermann.

Poor poor car, but 30K euros is way to much for that.
I bet the dealer that is selling it bought it for peanuts and is trying to get a good profit due to the rarity of the car.

Oouch !!
That must have been some impact :( Hope the guy was OK ?
As for the CSL it "died" doing what it should be doing, being driven hard @ the Ring.
I tell you what, when somebody stacks in front of you there like what happened to me last year (mentioning no names ) there is sod all you can do except steer for a gap one side of them & hope that it stays a gap !!
It all happens soooooooooooooo fast !!
A sad sight, but i think it does us all good to see pics like this occasionally as it reminds you what can happen if you do get it wrong goign a bit too fast in less than ideal conditions. Certainly made me think.

ohhhh Not Nice.
Looks like everyone is OK. from the pictures.
Def the End of that car.
Did not look too out of shape from the first frame, must have been going pretty fast. Anyone found pictures of the missing bit?
Never seen an allow come away from its Rim like that.

Im pretty certain the section is called Wipperman but Im sure some more experienced ringers will confirm that. I remember it because when we did the driver training back in August, our instructor, Peter Hahn always said its the only section on the circuit where you should drive right over the left hand kerb then the right hand kerb making it effectively a straight. I happen to love it for some reason!!
The wierd thing about pic 1, is that if the distinct black tyre marks belong to this crashed car, theres no way anyone should ever be up there unless they massively massively overcooked it going into the turn?
Maybe the perspective looks weird from this angle.
Looks liked everyone was ok tho which is the main thing.

its a sorry sight no doubt about it.....even more sorry when you thing the guy has no insurance!!!!!
Crashing at the Nürburgring is one of the most devastating things in the driving world. There are so many implications and consequences.
Seeing these types of photos reminds me of how cautious one should be, on and off track.
I found another angle of the TT crash:
