The front arches are very big for a standard coupe though mate.

TBH, i am only going on what t he website said. I think it looks like an ugly Merc.

The rear end is waaaaay to heavy.

It's pretty heavily disguised, although things like indicators in wing mirrors hint at a seperate sportier 3er (standard model are still in the front wing).

Would have thought as said above that back would have 4 exhausts and would be more like a small m5. Although with these 'mule' cars the body and the engine are by no means necessarily a match, quite often they will test the sportier cars with standard body panels so as not to try and give the game away too early. Does look like theres a bulge in the bonnet, looks like the camouflage comes from the ings and front and meets the bulge part way up the bonnet.

Agreed. That is one well disgused car. The only parts that look like the finished article are the FAT arches. I think the real body is underneath covered in thin plastic. Think thats the place in Sweeden that was on 5th gear the other night.

ok i am no doubt gunna be wrong about this but u can only disguise a car so much and we have all seen major disguised cars and the normally end up looking like the disguised product and the end of the day except for they end up sitting a lil nicer and dont have a crap plastic/rubber look......but i think the new M3 is gunna look F***ING GAAAAAAAAAYYYYYY what the F*** are bmw doing????????????

and if this offends...1) u have no taste and 2) to bad!

but on a happier note at least it makes the sexiest m3 yet cheaper and easier for us 2.5 and 3.0 to gettin our hands on :D :D :D

These sort of comments actually annoy me. Not to pick on you invisible_kid69 or anyone else, as I do realise these are your opinions.

The car is very very heavily disguised. Its all in the one color. You can't really see the lines. No BMW has front headlights like that. No BMW has rear lights like that. NO BMW has a front grill like that. Have you ever seen a BMW with circular holes all across the bonnet and wings?

How can anyone possibly say whether or not that car is going to look good or not? IT IS CLEARLY heavily disguised and you can't predict what the car is going to look like.

The car is disguised there is no doubting that and i am aware that its only 1 colour spoon but thanks for pointing that out anyways.....

i see what ur saying but like ive said before every1 here has seen tones of disguised prototypes and they have always turned out looking pretty much the same as the disguised version. they are testing the car aswell as the engine so wieght and dynamics cant be that far off otherwise whats the point in testing it?

i dont care about the lights the grill the frikkin lines its the shape of the thing if its that shape and that big then it looks like a mini 6 series and thats just shit in my opinion. bmw like most car company are producing cars that are getting more and more square everytime a new model comes out. i mean didnt the 80's finish just before the 90's or am i missing summit???

Mitsu to me when u look at the shots of the car from behind it still looks like the same car diff wheels slightly lower... if u actually compared both shots it still looks the same except for the fact 1's a vert... and spoon if the opinions that dont match up to urs are so irrelevant why comment? and if u dont want ppl 2 think ur offending them next time u feel like being a smart arse dont quote any1!
