Is a bit of nylon wire a possibility or not?

Id assume same way as in that debadging the car tutorial. Quick clean with some hot water... then use some kind of adhesive remover (spray would be good if you find newhere that sells it) and dental floss [ok.

get an old credit card or thin piece of plastic. start from one side and just pull the card between the spoiler and the bodywork. Then get some adhesive remover to remove the residue. That's how the bodyshop removed mine. No probs

Teddy we'll use the adhesive remover before fitting the new one.
We'll do it on Saturday as I ordered the rear boot lights today, so will pick them up on the way over to you at the weekend. ;)
