Dude, the bumper DOESN't come off. We tried for over an hour. But my lateral thinking figure out another way. BRUTE force :) Nick I'm sure will tell you how :D

He he he.....Great morning [ok [ok

Wheels look PHAT   ....Got to see the rolling with the car , put a new definition to PIMP! :D :D

Yeah, the front bumper on the M3 is a real BITCH to get off. We just could not locate the 2 centre screws to remove the anchor. Searched for over an hour and could not see anything at all. That includes jacking the car up and taking off the under cowl beneath the engine. No luck.

So we resolved to the good old use your muscle technique. Fas to pull hard on the bumper and I ripped the grill out from the front :D :D .....I was prepared to break it but BMW parts are so robust anyway that it came out in one piece ;) ;) .....so if it could come out in one piece, it most certainly can go in in one piece :D . Just force the damn thing in from under the bumper m8. Don't worry, like I said BMW parts are well designed to handle brute force.....if you break it, you're just shit out of luck [ok

BigFas
29-03-2005, 12:06 AM
@afif. Tyre sizes are front 235/35/19 and rears 265/30/19
@ hapry. Ride is same as on 18's. Went for a spin this evening, all feels really nice and planted.
@Churchwa. Still in the pipeline to change. These rims cost me nothing to change, so I thought why not

No need to, plenty of space. The rims have very mild offset but a thick lip to compensate. I reckon he can shove 5mm spacers behind those wheels and still be OK. Furthermore, the Falkens are pretty narrow for any given size when compared to other makes so the side wall profile is least aggressive.

Thats looks sick Fas....  They fill the arches way better now

The rims look great man... and so does the lip!

May have to shove 'em on my Z4 once you're done with them! ;)

Afif

Silver:

I'm running 9.5j rears with 265/30/19 tyres. Offset is high, et45 and the tyres are Falken FK451 which have a really small sidewall profile. Car is lowered and no rubbing, but I know if I had another tyre with higher sidewalls, I'd be having problems

thats from another thread btw [ok.

WOW great rims, BigFas [ok
I bet you can fit a matchbox on the lip of those rims with room to spare.

Are you sure you have Pro-Kit springs and not Sportline, it could be the colour, that gap looks more than 25 mm between the tyre and the top edge of the front wheel arch. Getting mine springs done soon
