My car needs an MOT next week, so I look @ the previous MOT to check the date & realised that when it was completed last year, the wrong mileage was put on the new style digital document :mad:
Phone the garage who did it (local Audi main dealer) & they say, dont keep history proof, no job card or VT40 retained (not a legal requirement), not able to change, Sorry ! :mad: :mad:
Phone VOSA , they say no proof from garage on the day - no change ! :mad: :mad: :mad:
Back to garage, beat up service manager, he agrees to do a letter saying they may have made a mistake & it may be wrong (only 30k miles too low !! - it was serviced 6 weeks before by BMW @ 43135 mls they put 13135 mls) - Tossers !
Now I've got to take garage letter & full service history proof before & after back to VOSA & their senior examiner will review the case with a view to correcting it maybe !!
Otherwise, I'm stuck with it !!
So if you need a MOT, check carefully they put the right mileage on it as it is near impossible to get it changed afterwards !!:(
