I have a couple of questions for the fitting of ccfl's.
Firstly how hard is it to do, as I am not 100% about doing it myself,
Is there a moisture problem if not fitted correctly ?
Do they come on when the side lights are switched on or when the full headlight is switched on.?
Sorry for the obvious questions
They come on when the sidelights are switched on, as they WILL be the sidelights!
Also, when headlights are on too, obviously.
They're not that hard to fit, but are quite fiddly. I got mine fitted with Teddy, and I'm so glad I did!
There shouldn't be a moisture problem, as long as you fit the headlight lense cover back properly.
:)
You also might want to do the "Silver Tape Mod" so that the light doesn't reflect backwards, and consequently makes the ring brighter:

On the facelift coupe the lights are sealed so its an awkward bitch fitting so im not sure on the facelift saloon. If its just a case of taking the lense cover off then i dont think its too bad. Ive only ever fitted them to a facelift coup though so cant be anymore help.

If there Teddy's then i dont think you need the tape mod anymore.
