It's taken me a while to get arround to editing this, if your interested in the build there's a thread here: http://forum.evotechnik.net/showthread.php?t=9436

E36 Compact with a M52B28
AVO coil overs
H&R ARB's
Wiechers strut brace
Eisenmann "stock level" box on an Z3 2.8 mid section with a bit of custom work
328 dash (with swing-o-me-jug or guilt-o-meter)

A short video of the compact: http://www.328compact.co.uk/328compact.avi (19Mb Xvid/MP3)

Still to come, 328i vented front brakes calipers full rebuilt, 318ti rear disk conversion calipers fully rebuilt, x brace

And in future a BBTB, M50 manifold and a remap!

Very nice work, with the manifold and remap you should be pushing 230bhp. Alot for a smallish car.

Not something I really though about or would probably want to get into to be honest! We did this as bit of fun at the weekends (that and the old 316 engine was just loosing water / on its way out).

Normally at the weekend this keeps me busy: http://www.msportster.co.uk/ :D

Ahh....furry muff, mates got the 328 coupe, and that's an awesome machine.... would love to pull next to him one day (as he does rip it out me for the 1600) and just stick with him....but.....dreams..we all need them lol

I think as far as conversions go this ones not too bad as most thing line up and you don't need to do any custom fabrication bar the exhaust! The M52 drops right in all you need to do is move the gearbox cross bar back (stock holes available for this) and use the front 1/2 of the 328 prop shaft to compensate for the longer gearbox :)
