ebay would be your best bet for one of those. just make sure you check the seller you are buying it from.

Some are recons, not that recons are bad, there just, erm, recons!

Avoid the Lithuanian seller, its a recon with a hamster inside. :(

Thanks for the inside track guys.

I was wondering whether I need to look for some codes to be supplied with the unit.

:o)

Its plug and play mate, done it on the M5, just take out old unit and put the Mk4 in its place, only 2 cables and thats it, they plug into the same places as they did on the old unit.

There is normally a few on ebay, also try some of the breakers, F.A.B and Quarry motors would be a good start point.

This is a good one... http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/sat-nav-BMW-NAVIGATION-DVD-MK4-COMPUTER-FOR-E38-E39-E46_W0QQitemZ200071215745QQihZ010QQcategoryZ75327Q QssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

I know someone mentioned something about a Lithuanian seller but its not this one, he has sold to quite a few members on www.m5board.com and there is no complaints at all. Worth a look!

I've got one that may be up for grabs - two interested parties already, but will know by Tuesday lunchtime

Don't worry about using an established Lithuanian seller, I got my mk4 for £265 from one and it arrived in about a week. Also bought my 16:9 bordmonitor from another Lithuanian seller with no problems.

I got it so cheap by bidding on ebay.de - the Germans seem to be a bit more paranoid about ordering from Lithuania I think.
