As usual, I am stumped trying to figure out if a set of wheels will fit!

I'm getting a 2003 E65 745, and really like the look of 20" ACS Type IVs

http://i5.ebayimg.com/02/i/05/4c/de/4a_1_b.JPG

Have found these...

Brand new on eBay for £2800 with no tyres (http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/BMW-20-Inch-AC-Schnitzer-Type-IV-RACING-Alloy-Wheels_W0QQitemZ230078897060QQihZ013QQcategoryZ286 48QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem)

And much more affordable,

these second hand with tyres for £1499 (http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/AC-Schnitzer-BMW-Alloy-Wheels-20-E60-E39-E46-M5-M3_W0QQitemZ150076227742QQihZ005QQcategoryZ28648QQ rdZ1QQssPageNameZWD1VQQcmdZViewItem)

This is the info from the ACS website...

Are the rims identical, but with different spacers?

And if so, will the second hand set fit, and if so what would I need? Would the tyres be the right size?

Great choice of car and wheel imo.

So you went for it then?!

Congrats mate and i think the Type IVs would look superb, although would 20" not look a little small under those massive arches.

Pics please.........

I was going to go for BMW tyre insurance with the 19s that come with the car, so it made sense to swap the tyres on to the new rims y'see! Or failing that, get a set of 19" rims with new tyres and not get the insurance. The tyres for the 20s I've currently got are just too darn pricey!

Not a fan of the type 2s Reaver - had them briefly on my E39 and they made the car look like a Hot Wheels / Matchbox model.

Still waiting for final confirmation from the dealer - should have heard at 9am this morning :(

Will post full spec once I'm 100%

Will take ownership in a couple of weeks once it's been through it's AUC check, wheel refurb etc.

Despite swearing I'd get a black one, was offered a newer, even higher spec Titan Silver one with lower mileage for much less - it looks gorgeous :D Most of them seem to be that boring metallic grey, which does nothing for the shape IMHO

Pics once it's confirmed and in my hands :D

Going for the ACS7 look this time

If you don't mind, how much was it?

I've seen a few lately around £20k-£25k. Hell of a lot of car for the money!

I assume warranty is still valid?

Still sorting out the final sums for price to change, but the forecourt price was £24995 - full year's warranty and all other main dealer stuff.

I'll be paying considerably less than that though ;)

Sounds like a good deal!

You're not selling your paddleshift/steering wheel by any chance? (should fit my E39!)
