I plan to order the M3 front & rear VTTR BBK from the Tedster, but I can't decide on what colour calipers... :confused:

Black / red / gold... what do you guys think will suit the Silverstone paint... :confused: :confused:

Gold is out of place IMO. Red is default, can't go wrong. But black would look very classy especially with the colour of your car and interior as they are already 'loud', so a subtle caliper colour will enhance the overall appearance instead of turning the car into a rainbow :p

My choice, black.

Alternatively, blue also look good.

I'd go for red, but ya hafta keep them BBKs clean as dirty red BBKs look shite. Black would be pretty good too.

No offence to you all out there with coloured calipers, but i think its better to go with a colour that dont stick out like a sore thumb. Thats my choice anyway, more stealthy and less posey.

Thing with BBKs is that you can never class them as posey mod no matter how bling they are, as they will still perform many times better than the stock brakes. They are always a performance upgrade with a bit of eye candy thrown in.

I didn't think of silver, nice one - hopefully teddy can let me know if it is an option. Otherwise, I think I am drawn to black :cool:

Gold is too much on your car mate

I'd go for the new Gunmetal Grey colour, veyy unique and discret, but the massive 355mm disks should shout out loud to anyone that you have a BBK on the car

My money (if i had any:(:( ) would be on the gun metal, very original!! and would compliment the colour of your car a treat.

I would go red with your colour car :) but silver/gun metal would also look good but more discreet IMO

Definitely gunmetal or black. The lettering will still stand out and will not detract to much from the rest of the unique colour of the car. :cool: :cool: :cool:

It's a straight race between black and gunmetal for me... but have to wait a month or so before ordering as some @&*@! has ripped half my rear bumper off, so need to fund a new rear bumper + paint + fitting at BMW first :o

go for blue calipers, will match your interior. i know you obviously cant see them together but its a nice touch

Thanks for the heads-up Juber, but I am gonna get it done with new parts as I want it to be perfect. I wish i could get the S.O.B. who smacked it to pay but it happened while the car was parked up so have no idea who or what hit it :o :mad:

The car goes into BMW on thursday for a new bolster and will be getting a quote for the repair.
