**Happy new year**

I hope you don't mind me being the first to say happy new year (I know i'm early) when its better being announced by a crew member but i'm off now till the 3rd Jan so just wanted to say it before I left. :)

Its been horrible not having my car since the last Nurburgring trip (for those who don't know, I melted my camshafts :o ) which means I have missed a few meets. As soon as I scrape together the 3.5k repair fee, I'll be back on the road in no time!! :cool:

2006 has been a great year for everything associated with EvoT. Ring trips, meets and the first Evotechfest (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9zyKX3wfLY0) meet at Brunters. :cool:

Its a shame people like me and Raj are up north, we can't just 'pop round' to say Hi. (Bloody Southeners you lot!!):rolleyes:

When we do blast down the M40 to see you guys you really do make us feel so much welcome, no one is clicky and everyone is friendly.

When some of you (Mark, Paul, Tracey, Sue, Raj, Claire and i'm sorry if I missed anyone out :o ) came all the way up the M40 to mine and Mandy's engagement party it really showed real friendship. We were chuffed to bits.:)

Without EvoT, I wouldn't have met Nick which means I wouldn't have had his mobile number in my phone and I wouldn't have been able to call him with details of a sudden illness I had. He knew what it was and told me to go straight to hospital. If I hadn't have spoke to him I would have thought it was just the flu or something, turns out I had lost 40% of my blood through internal bleeding, he probably saved my life!!!!!!

Anyway here is me rambling on again so i'll quit now.:o

Once again, real decent people, real friends Here is to 2007.

Matt summed it up nicely, and we're all another year older and another year wiser now (that's really wise in Mark's case ;)), so it's good to see everyone playing their part in an ever-growing family. Here's to more next year - more new friends, more great experiences with the friends we have, and more of the good things in life.

Just want to say, i havn't been on the forum long but you lot are a very knowledgable bunch when it comes to Beemers and a lot of the stuff you do to your cars is the nuts, but above that it is impresive that you all help each other with modding each others cars and someone is always at hand with an answer to a problem no matter how big or small. I know it's a bit late, but I really do echo what Matt has said. It really is a shame we are such a distance from where most of the meets and the like take place. Plus it would be great to just pop round and say hi or help others with mods and the like. I hope to make 2007 an even better year. Hopefully make a lot more meets as after the birth of my son, I haven't really had much time.
