Alpine TME-M750 Headrest Screen Question [Archive]

Hi,

I have a pair of Alpine TME-M750 Screens. One of the control boxes is not working however and as far as i can see there is no way to run two screens of one control box. Is this correct? Would you be able to surce a new control box?

Also, could you tell me if you sell sunvisor screens and howmuch they are?

hello there,

yes i shgould be able to source a control box for you, however i dont go back to the shop until the 2nd jan so i'll have to check for you then.

as for sunvisor screens, there a rent any on the market that have a good picture quality yet, or for that matter any that fit good as a replacement for the originals.

it is possible to source them separatly but i'm waiting on a price from alpine spares. will pm you when they let me know.

just heard back from alpine, they cost around £300 for the box and they need your old one back. very expensive imo!

ouch, 300 quid, think i may give it a miss and jsut sell the screen on ebay if anyone wnats it adn get a new set from sumwhere.

Are you able to have headrest screens fitted in headrests? How much do you charge? I went to one palce who quoted me 300 quid jsut to put them in the headrests even before wiring for which they wanted an additional 125 for which i thought was very steep.

does sound a bit much. i normally charge approx £300 for fitting the screens in the headrests and wiring them into the car.
