this morning went out to get some breakfast , and the car was cold it didn't move since Wednesday night , once I started moving the DSC , ABS , and emergency brake light all came on then started blinking quickly then all was OK , about 10 days ago the same thing happened also when the car was cold , but the lights came on for a one second and then they went off.

After the first time it happened I went to the dealer , and they said it was OK and normal , as it might be reseting or something  . I'm going 2moro and I want to know what are possibilities , maybe some king of sensor is about to go ?

Yup speed sensor, Don't know where it is though. Happened to me about 2 weeks ago. Crapped my pants. Dealer couldn't fit the car in at the time but when I left the dealer the lights were gone. Never come back since!

WTF..."it's normal and it might be resetting"?! Is your dealer totally braindead or are they presuming that you are? I'd go back in and give them a piece of my mind, bloody idiots. No harm on this one (although if it screws up the DSC system when you actually need it then you could be in for some fun), but if they're gonna say any old crap to get rid of you for that then what about if you in with a pump failure or something? Pillocks..

I know I didn't say anything because I knew I was going to bring it in for Inspection 2 service later which its going in for tommorow . Would teh computer recored such a fault ?

its a weird one... ive had this problem for ages and just have got around to replacing the sensor because its intermittent. Some diagnosis since then (for other things) brought it up... some didnt. Maybe they have ot know what there looking for in order to find it?.

Had that happened to me as well. Did not have time to replace it yet (On the driver rear side going into the disc hub) and all I did was to take it out and short it for the time being:)

Their computer will sure pick it up as it did on mine..

It will register as a fault on the computer - which they'd already know if they'd bothered to spend 30 seconds checking that when you took it in the first time rather than spend 3 seconds BSing you.

they actually didn't check it as I was passing by waiting for a part to come in , and told them about it , I asked if this would could effect DSC as it was raining at the time and they said no so I didn't bother , but it seems if its the speed sensor which the DSC might relay on for info then luckly I didn't get in trouble , anyway first thing I'm going to let them do before anything is hook it up to the computer and see whats wrong and I'm going to say speed sensor before they do :D

The dealer says that this is caused by the altenator which is going to be replaced after Eid holiday
