Is it straight forward to retro fit the elec folding door mirrors? Sorry about the q's, its just the more i can retro fit, the less i have to look for when looking for a car. I was looking at the m3 style door mirrors on ssdd, could these be used to retro fit? tah in advance

I doubt the car i will get will have either the elec seats or the e/f mirrors. Do you think i can get an auto electrician to wire them up somehow? i spoke to him, and he reckons he can do it? what do you guys think?
well kav reckoneded he could do it mine come to think about it - when he was lowering it. I wasnt really paying attention since i got other mods on my mind at the moment.

2 things to check:
1. is fuse no 57 present in your fuse box?
2. are your seats and mirrors memory?
If you can answer yes to both questions then you can retrofit the folding mirrors. If you do not have fuse no 57 then there will be too much rewiring work involved. Manual fold mirrors are just as nice ;)

I've got OEM M3 manual fold's on mine, anyone know if I can retrofit some motors in to them? I've got fuse 57 and electric seats.....
Cheers

Kris you can retrofit auto fold mirrors to your car but I don't think you can get just the motors by themselves.
Dude,
Speak to Ali (english one) - he has to be the king of the "retro fit" pretty sure everyone will agree!
